Happy Halloween

In honor of last week's crazy events, for Halloween this year I'm dressing as the scariest thing I (well, it was actually Matt's idea) could think of:

THE WITCH FIRE

For those of you hiding in a cave last week, the Witch Fire was the largest and most ferocious of the Southern California fires that burned through the area. I sewed on my shirt "10% contained." I hope I don't get rotten tomatoes thrown at me today.

Here are a couple of my co-workers dressed in their Halloween garb:

Road-Kill Raccon (Misty) and Slash (Ashley)

What did you all dress up as this year?

Care Bear... I was bed-time bear because I go to bed at 9pm most nights.

You are so clever! I'm a boring secretary who could only muster up an orange sweater.

Nicely done with the costume, Erika. You're an awfully pretty witch fire! Oh, and one more thing...are those little bangs I see sneaking out under that hat?! How cute!

I dressed up as "Izzie" from Grey's Anatomy. I was actually the only person on my team dressed up...there was a pimp in the next aisle. That was pretty hilarious. I have started one of these things in hopes that I would post more often...you are my inspiration in that area. I am doing pretty well so far. Great costume btw:)

Great idea and very well executed! My lack-of-costume this year was inspired by rudolf... and his big red nose.

i love it. it helps that you look hot.

this is the first year in many that i didn't dress up. so sad. sickness is running a muck over here.

but, jack went out as a super-hero & loved it once he realized people were giving him candy!

That's stinkin' creative. You rock. I didn't dress up this year. I was sick and drugged that evening... but I love Halloween. I carved a pumpkin, watched scary movies, and put a mean Halloween playlist on my Myspace page... but that was the extent of my Halloween this year. :(

Loved the costume! Timely, clever, and funny--all the ingredients of a great Halloween costume.

And your friend dressed up as roadkill is awesome! I've been saying to myself for some time now that it would be a lot funnier if girls would stop trying to be so sexy for Halloween and go as something vile, like roadkill! Way to go, her! Please tell her John Kerry and I approve her costume message.
